Robert M. Levitt, M.D., is a Board Certified in General Surgery with over 10 years of experience. Dr. Levitt is a member of the medical staff at Union Hospital.

Dr. Levitt graduated with a Bachelor of Science Biology Degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. His internship and residency were completed in General Surgery at Akron City Hospital/Summa Health Systems in Akron, Ohio.

With extensive expertise in the surgical treatment of diseases, Dr. Levitt specializes in surgical repair of hernias; surgery of the thyroid, abdomen (liver, spleen, gallbladder, intestines, pancreas), skin, soft tissues, and breast; and upper and lower endoscopy.

Dr. Levitt’s goal is to provide the most comprehensive surgical care to his patients.
